The tower in Sherwood was constructed by SherTele Cable for future use for their cable system.  Space on the tower (the two existing antennas on it) has been rented to SAA bright.net for use of providing internet backhaul services.  A fiber optic cable has been run from the phone company to the tower site and it feeds the Sherwood Telephone Company's DSL Service and for SAA bright.net's Dial Up Service.  It provides the two services, a high grade of service that is seen only in larger cities.  We will also be using this tower to provide WI-FI Hot Spots in Sherwood as well.
